Love, like, and hate are verbs that are used to express how we feel about something or someone. These verbs can be followed by nouns, gerunds, or infinitives without changing the meaning. Enjoy can only be followed by nouns or gerunds.

Enjoy

(enjoy cannot be used here)

I hate eating green peas.

I hate to eat green peas.
